Melissa Hernandez
Melissa Hernandez is a public servant, former Mayor of Dublin, California, and is also a Democratic candidate for Congress in California’s 14th Congressional District.
Melissa currently serves as Director of Healthcare Services for Alameda County Supervisor David Haubert, where she works to expand access to healthcare and improve community health and safety.
Throughout her career, Melissa has advocated for affordable housing, mental health services, and opportunities for individuals with disabilities. She played an important role in advancing Sunflower Hill at Grace Point, a planned affordable housing community for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and received the Rainmaker Award in recognition of her contributions to the project.
