Khushi Khandelwal

Khushi Khandelwal is a psychology and international relations postgraduate, charity project manager, ADHD advocate, and recently diagnosed autistic woman.

Diagnosed with ADHD at 27 after moving from India to the UK, and later with autism, her experiences shaped her understanding of neurodiversity, culture, mental health and identity.

Growing up in India and living in the UK exposed her to different attitudes toward neurodivergence. Despite being expressive, creative, sociable and academically successful, her struggles often went unnoticed.

She combines her professional background with lived experience to advocate for those overlooked or diagnosed later in life. She speaks openly about masking, burnout, emotional regulation, self-advocacy and cultural identity.

Trained in suicide intervention, Khushi believes that appearing successful or capable doesn't mean someone isn't struggling. Those who seem to cope best may simply be skilled at hiding the effort.
